The Gender Secret (The Gender Game, #2) by Bella Forrest
This is the second book in the Gender Game Series by Bella Forrest and I was pleasantly surprised by how this book played out. The plot line was intriguing enough to keep me interested and not become overly boring, however, I think my favorite aspect of the book was the characters. Violet and Viggo, feel like real people. Their emotions are real to each situation they’re in without it being overly dramatic. Even the secondary characters have personalities that you can’t help but feel intrigued by them. I’m looking forward to reading the third book in the series.
Favorite Quote from the Book:
Cruelty didn’t have a gender qualifier behind it—it was an ever-unraveling human condition, cast out by pride, power, and indifference.
